Saturday, Nov. 11: March in Support of the PRSF

Río Piedras - Over 100 community, environmental, anti-war, human rights, political (non-electoral), labor, and cultural organizations have registered 210 workshops, panels, conferences, exhibitions, and performances to take place during the First Puerto Rico Social Forum on the 17th, 18th, and 19th of November, 2006. A march/procession will kick off the historic event the previous weekend, on Satruday, November 11th. Participants will march at 3 pm, from the UPR Museum to the Manuel A. Pérez public housing project. Community organizations from Manuel A. Pérez, which also will be the site of a Youth Camp and Hip Hop City during the Forum, will participate in the Forum.
